Everything you need to know
What is UniRocket?
UniRocket is an online platform that connects students with experienced and qualified teachers. Our mission is to help students excel in their studies through personalised tutoring. Whether you're looking for help with school subjects, exam preparation, or university-level tutoring, UniRocket is here to support your educational journey.
We primarily offer tutoring in Mathematics, German, English, and Spanish. However, if you need tutoring for any other subject, feel free to reach out, and we will gladly find a solution for you.
To book a trial lesson, simply press Book a Lesson on our website, which will redirect you to our booking system on Telegram. There, you will be asked to provide your information, choose the subject, and select a date for your trial lesson. Once this is done, your trial lesson will be set!
Before the trial lesson, please use the contact form or write an email to info@uni-rocket.com. After you become part of UniRocket, Telegram will be used as the main communication platform.
All of our teachers have gone through a thorough application and screening process. Each tutor has demonstrated strong subject knowledge, teaching ability, and reliability. At a minimum, all teachers hold an Abitur or an equivalent qualification, with many already pursuing or having completed university degrees.
Trial Lesson
The trial lesson lasts for 45 minutes and is completely free of charge. It gives both you and the teacher a chance to assess whether it's a good fit for your needs.
No, the trial lesson is obligation and charge-free. After the trial, you can decide if you'd like to continue with regular lessons. No contract is required for the trial lesson.
Regular Lessons
Our online tutoring sessions are designed to feel just like face-to-face lessons—just digital. Whether it's 1:1 lessons or small group classes, students and teachers meet in a virtual classroom using Google Meet. They can see and hear each other clearly, collaborate in real time on a shared whiteboard, and if needed, the lesson can be recorded for later review.
Each lesson usually lasts 45 minutes. Of course, you can also book double sessions or extended lessons.
Pricing & Payment
Our pricing depends on the level of the student:
- For younger students, the price is between €20 and €35 per lesson.
- For more advanced levels, including final exam preparation and university entrance exam preparation, prices range from €35 to €55 per lesson.
Yes, we offer discounted rates when booking lesson packages. However, all pricing details and available options are shared after your trial lesson. Once the session is complete, you’ll be guided to our Telegram booking assistant, where you can browse through the personalised offers and select the package that fits you best — no pressure, no commitment.

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the lesson. The teacher will also contact you via Telegram to confirm details and answer any questions you may have.
After your trial lesson, you will receive a personal link. Based on the information you provided for the trial lesson, different subscription and package options tailored to your needs will be presented. You can take your time to browse through the options and decide which one suits you best. Once you’ve selected a package, both the student and their parent will be added to a private Telegram group, where you’ll find the booking link for all future lessons.
Important note:
The subscription or package will only be confirmed and booked after you have provided all necessary details and completed the payment process.
Once you have selected a package or subscription, all the necessary details will be shared in your personal Telegram group. In this group, you will find a direct link that allows you to easily book, reschedule, or cancel your lessons as needed.
In your personalised Telegram group, you will find everything related to booking, rescheduling, and cancelling your lessons. Additionally, you will have access to the lesson notes (OneNote). All important updates regarding your lessons, including any schedule changes or announcements, will be shared in this group. You will also be able to communicate directly with your tutor if you have any questions or need further information.
Lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel a lesson less than 24 hours before it is due to start, the full amount for the lesson will be charged. Please ensure you cancel in time to avoid any charges. You can cancel your lesson directly through the booking link provided in your personalised Telegram group.
If you are unable to attend a lesson due to illness, please inform us as soon as possible. While our usual cancellation policy requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, we understand that illness can occur unexpectedly. In such cases, you will not be charged if you cancel less than 24 hours before the lesson. However, we require proof of illness, such as a doctor's note or similar documentation, to waive the cancellation fee.
Technical Questions
You can join your UniRocket lesson using a smartphone, tablet, or computer — whatever suits you best. That said, we’ve found that a tablet usually provides the best experience. To ensure smooth communication, please make sure your device has a working microphone and camera, so both teacher and student can see and hear each other clearly.
We primarily use Google Meet for our online lessons. It’s a reliable and easy-to-use platform for video conferencing. If you prefer a different platform, please let your teacher know, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
We use Telegram for all communication. It’s where you’ll receive important updates, lesson reminders, and links for booking or rescheduling lessons.

If you experience technical problems during a lesson, please contact your teacher through Telegram.
Check if your microphone and camera are enabled. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and that Google Meet has access to your devices. If problems persist, contact your teacher through Telegram or our support team.
Yes, lessons on Google Meet can be recorded. If recording is enabled, you’ll have access to the lesson to review at a later time.
If you wish to cancel your contract, subscription, or package, simply send an email to info@uni-rocket.com. You can cancel at any time, but make sure to follow the correct procedure as explained in the next question.
After the trial lesson, no cancellation is needed. You only need to cancel once you’ve chosen a subscription or package. Cancellations must be requested at least 7 days before the next billing cycle. If you choose to cancel earlier, you can still make use of all lessons until the end of the current term.
